The Big Day is Approaching! You Are Invited to TACA Georgia's Traditional April 23rd Celebration!

Dear Members of the Turkish-American Community,

As TACA Georgia, we are delighted to invite you to our Traditional April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day Festival, which we have proudly organized since 1999!

We will celebrate this unique holiday, gifted to the children of the world by the founder of our Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with the joy and enthusiasm of our children, just as we do every year.

This year's celebration will have an international festival atmosphere with the participation of children's groups from different cultures!

Date: Sunday, April 27th 
Time: 1:00 PM (Doors open)

Why Should You Attend?

• Spectacular Performances: We will keep our culture alive with modern dance and traditional folklore performances by 3 different groups of Turkish children.
• International Friendship: We will get to know different cultures through songs by the Japanese children's choir and traditional dances by the Romanian children's group.
• Diverse Performances: Our stage will be enriched with a Taekwondo demonstration and elegant performances by the Tolbert Yilmaz School of Dance and Atlanta Dance Theatre ballet groups.
• Surprises: There will also be small surprise performances showcasing the individual talents of our children!
• Atatürk and Republic Values: We will collectively convey the meaning and importance of our national holiday to our children.

Lobby Activities:

Pleasant melodies from a live violin recital will greet you as you enter the event area. Additionally, free face painting and balloon twisting activities for our children will be waiting for you in the foyer!

1. Traditional Welcome Summer Picnic ☀️
   • Let's welcome summer together with a delightful picnic!

   • Note: Surprise activities will also await you at this traditional picnic, which will be open to the public.
2. May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day: Stone Mountain Hike 🇹🇷
   • You are invited to our meaningful Stone Mountain hike, which we started last year and aim to make a tradition for the Georgia Turkish-American community for decades to come!
   • Date: Sunday, May 18th
   • Time: 9:30 AM (Start)
   • Location: Stone Mountain
   • Note: We aim to be even more crowded this year for this hike where we will joyfully experience the meaning and importance of the day with our flags and Atatürk t-shirts. Details will be announced in the coming days!
